Tales of Hope - Moo, Moo the hoarder cat

Sweet, forgiving Moo Moo was rescued from a hoarding situation where there were countless other cats. He was forced to fight for food and attention.

After his rescue, it was discovered that he had numerous infections that may last his entire life. When Cat Connection rescued him, it took two years to nurse him back to health.

Kevin and Laurel adopted Moo Moo and found that his past experiences have made him more affectionate and tolerant today.

Special thanks to Cat Connection. Cat Connection, a non-profit 501(c)(3) no-kill rescue group, was founded in 1996 and provides animal rescue services to Southern California. They are an organization of dedicated volunteers with no paid staff.

Their animals live in their cattery or volunteer foster homes until adopted. Their volunteers care for kittens that need to be bottle-fed, cats that need medical attention and/or socialization, and healthy animals ready for adoption.

Cat Connection takes care of their rescue animals’ medical needs and prior to adoption, every animal is spayed/neutered, tested, vaccinated, de-wormed, treated for fleas and microchipped. To learn more go to catconnectionla.org

  2. With my work, I have gone into countless "hoarding houses" and it's always hard. So I love to see a senior cat like Moo Moo getting the care and time to thrive in a safe place and find a loving home! Cat Connection sounds like a great place. Thank you for sharing a happy outcome story!
