SciFi Pawty

The March pawpawty is this weekend, and this month's theme is science fiction. That's right - last year's ScifiPawty was such a hit that it's back even bigger and better than it was before.

This year, the party starts on Saturday, March 26 at 9am EDT and runs a full 24 hours. That's more fun, more games, more music, and a chance to raise even more money to help animals in need.

All proceeds from the event will support One-By-One Cat Rescue, a no-kill, all-volunteer nonprofit rescue located in Kutztown, PA. One By One is dedicated to helping abandoned, stray, rescued and injured cats by providing quality shelter and foster care through voluntary efforts for their lifetime, if necessary.

Our host will be my favorite scifi geek Boris Kitty, who has lined up a whole crew of barktenders, quizmasters, and DJs.  There will be lots of great prizes, including signed Lady Robotika comic books and an autographed CD donated by Jane Wiedlin of the Go-Gos.

There will also be a costume contest again this, so come as your favorite character from Star Trek, Star Wars, Dr. Who or any other scifi movie or TV show. Get your costume ready now and post a link in the comments section of Boris Kitty's blog. Last year's winners will be hard to beat!
