Favorite Video Friday: The Story of Zamboni

For the past 16 years, Animal Friends’ annual New Year’s Eve Rescue has been a Pittsburgh tradition and a last-chance lifeline for pets. Animal Friends’ staff and volunteers travel to local shelters and animal control facilities to bring back the pets that would not otherwise live to see the New Year.

This video shows the process through the eyes of a 10 week old boxer mix named Zamboni - from her admission to her final adoption!




On Monday, December 31, Animal Friends will once again rescue pets that are slated to be euthanized by the year's end.
