Tales of Hope: Pepe the paralyzed pug

Weeks before Christmas, Pepe was stepped on, crushing his spine, incapacitating him. His owners reluctantly gave him up, knowing they could not pay for his costly medical expenses and rehabilitation.

Pug Nation LA took him and assumed all the costs. Not only did Pepe learn to walk again, he learned to run with the help of a wheelchair. It was at Pug Nation that he found his forever home with Megan, a staff member.

Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced and abused pugs, giving them a second chance in a loving and caring "forever" home.
