Jackson Galaxy announces the launch of the Jackson Galaxy Foundation, a resource that will support pet shelters in need through education, monetary & food grants, and more.

The Jackson Galaxy Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit, was created to improve the lives of sheltered animals by transforming the places they live and by helping the people who care for them.
The Foundation focuses on programs that drive innovation in sheltering by raising awareness for important issues in animal welfare, improving shelter design and construction, and empowering staff and adopters with knowledge about animal behavior that will deepen the human/animal bond and get more animals adopted.
One of the Jackson Galaxy Foundation’s primary goals is “elevation through education” – to use increased knowledge to raise the status of rescue animals and the confidence of animal rescuers, providing the inspiration to effect real change.
