Adopt The Internet Day

Since 1996, Petfinder.com has helped more than 17 million pets find their forever homes.  In honor of their 15th birthday, Petfinder has declared Tuesday, March 15 as Adopt-the-Internet Day and is asking bloggers everywhere to pledge to blog about adoptable pets.

Here's how you can help:
  • Add a badge to your website to show your support.
  • Donate your Facebook status and photo to an adoptable pet.
  • Share an adoptable Petfinder pet on Twitter with the hashtag #adopttheinternet.
  • Add a link from your blog, Facebook or Twitter post to the Petfinder page.
  • Help caption Petfinder photos on ICanHasCheezburger.com

Join the fun on March 15 and help more adoptable pets find their forever homes!

  4. Dawn - thank you for your information about aKeKee.com. However, this post is not about the merits of aKekee.com versus Petfinder.com - it is about helping homeless pets find their forever homes. I am well aware that there are other online resources out there to help in that effort, and I believe we are all working toward the same goal. Thank you again.
