Santa Paws Drive 2012

It’s that time of the year again – time for the Santa Paws Drive! The mission of the Santa Paws Drive is to bring holiday cheer to shelter animals around the world.

Now in its fourth year, the Santa Paws Drive is the first-ever online Christmas toy drive dedicated to shelter pets. In the past three years, the Santa Paws Drive has raised approximately $30,000 in toys, treats and donations for 18 shelters worldwide.

This year’s goal is to raise $1,000 in cash donations for each shelter ($6,000 total) plus oodles of toys and treats! The Santa Paws elves will collect all the donations, divide them between six shelters and ship off a giant gift package of goodies to the lucky dogs and cats at each one!

The last day for cash donations is December 20. The last day for toy and treat donations is December 14, so the elves can have enough time to sort all the items, pack them up and ship them off in time for Christmas delivery!

The six shelters chosen this year are:
  • Bobbi and the Strays – Glendale, New York
  • Castaway Critters - Blairsville, Georgia
  • Forever Home Feline Ranch – Springfield, Illinois
  • Foundation of Animal Protection – Fuzesabony, Hungary
  • H.A.R.T. Cat Shelter – Cumberland, Maine
  • Kyrenia Animal Rescue – Girne, Turkey

The Santa Paws Drive is the dream of Dorian Wagner, founder of YourDailyCute.com. The other Santa Paws elves include Kerri Schlack (TheKittenCrew.com), Salina Gannon (NipandBones.com), Lynn Haigh (DougalsDen.co.uk), and Diane Silver (ToDogWithLove.com).
