Bon Voyage BlogPaws 2013!

Sadly, I will be watching from the dock when BlogPaws 2013 sets sail on Thursday, May 16. John Lennon said “Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans,” and my life requires that I stay home this year.

I have been lucky enough to attend every BlogPaws conference since the very first one in April 2010, and I will greatly miss seeing all my blogger buddies – as well as the opportunities to learn and network with the event sponsors. But that doesn't mean I'll miss all the fun!

First, my dear friend Cathy Keisha will be taking plush Bunny Jean Cook along with her to the conference. I’m counting on everyone to post lots of pictures of BJC in the sessions and at the social events!

Second, I will be following along on Twitter as conference attendees tweet from the event. Attendees will post updates throughout the entire conference - from the opening keynote to the closing reception. You can join me (and them) by following the hashtag #BlogPaws.

And third, I will be hosting the online wrap-up party on Saturday, May 18 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. EDT! How cool is that?

Chloe, Kristen and all the other BlogPaws staffers will be busy at the conference, so I will be tweeting as @BlogPaws to let online participants know the winners of the Nose-to-Nose Pet Blogging and Social Media Awards. Other BlogPaws community members will also be participating, and there will be the usual DJs, barktenders, sekurity and prizes! You can join us by following the hashtag #BlogPawty.

So I will be at BlogPaws 2013 both online and in spirit – and you can be too! Just follow the Twitter hashtag #BlogPaws from Thursday, May 16 through Saturday, May 18. Join in the fun, learn about blogging and social media, and network with other pet bloggers and event sponsors!

  8. I'm sad to be missing it too! Seriously, those of us not going this year need to have our own little virtual party so we aren't too sad.

    1. I really missed being there although the living streaming was great! It was a blast hosting the BlogPawty, but I will definitely be in there next year. Viva Las Vegas!
