A dog rescue that will make you smile

This is the story of Rusty, a dog that eluded rescuers for four months. During that time, he evaded every type of trap and rescue attempt.

Finally, with the assistance of Hope for Paws, rescuers were able to capture Rusty, clean him up and place him in a foster home, where he now awaits permanent placement.

Hope for Paws is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue organization based in Los Angeles, Calif. Founded by Audrey and Eldad Hagar, Hope for Paws rescues dogs and all other animals who are suffering on the streets and in the shelters.

They foster these animals in their home, cage free, until they can find them permanent, loving families. Their goal is to educate people on the importance of companion animals in our society to stop the cycle of animal neglect and abuse.
